Statement
Some of my favorite things to paint are heads juxtaposed with items from nature. I also love using pattern and color. Sometimes, I paint animals. In my past works, I have attempted to explore and challenge traditional perceptions. A theme in my works has been the concept of the invisible woman, alluding to gender stereotypes. The motif of the eye, recurrent in my art, pays homage to the ephemeral nature of human perception, echoing the fleeting essence of our observations of the world. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the eye symbolizes the artist's contemplative observation of the natural world and the nuanced dynamic of being both observer and observed.
